髄膜腫の嚢胞形成—2症例と考察

Cyst Formation of Meningioma: Report of two cases and review of literature

I．はじめに

　髄膜腫の中で嚢胞を伴うものの頻度は，2.6％（Cushingら^3），1938），あるいは1.2％（佐藤ら^16），1971）などの報告があり，概ね1-2％で比較的まれとされている．しかし，近年CTなどの診断技術の進歩に伴い，診断も容易となり，その頻度は増加しているものと思われる．われわれの経験した髄膜腫は，過去87例を数えるが，その内嚢胞を伴ったものは2例（2.3％）であった．そこで，2症例を報告し，嚢胞性髄膜腫のCT所見，および嚢胞形成機序などについて，若干の文献的考察を加える．

Abstract

　Cystic meningioma is rare and said to account for 1 to 2% of all types of meningioma. Here we report two cases of cystic meningioma.

　Case 1 is a 25-year-old man. He had suffered from sporadic epileptic seizure for about two years until the first CT was performed. It revealed a large cystic lesion at the right parietal region in touch with the midline structure. A nodular high density area was delineated in the contrast enhanced CT on the medial wall of the cyst. He showed no neurological abnormality at all.
