Ⅰ．緒言
後頭蓋窩血腫のなかで硬膜下血腫の発生頻度は硬膜外血腫に比較して非常に少ない．Mckissockら10）によると全硬膜下血腫中での頻度は0.5％でMunroら11）によると1.6％である．新生児後頭蓋窩硬膜下血腫の治療に成功した症例はきわめて少なく1，2，8，14，17-19，22），本邦にはまだ報告がないようである．私共は最近，新生児後頭蓋窩硬膜下血腫の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．
Subdural hematoma of the posterior fossa in the newborn is a rare clinical entity. We have reported the successful surgical treatment of a case with posterior fossa subdural hematoma. A female infant, weighing 3450 g., was born on 20 Aug. 1973 following a 41-week gestation. Delivery was carried out with vacuum extraction.
Five hours later respiratory distress occured and oxygen was given.
By the 2nd postnatal day vomiting and convulsion had occured, and on the 3rd day, the anterior fontanel became full and tense.
