　頭蓋内軟骨腫または骨軟骨腫はかなり稀な疾患である．本邦では最近数年間に相次いでその報告例をみるようになったが，現在まで文献上10数例を数えるに過ぎない，頭蓋底部なかでも傍正中部はこれらの腫瘍の好発部であり，腫瘍存在部位に一致する脳神経症状あるいは周囲神経組織への圧迫症状で発症経過することが多い．

　われわれは最近，クモ膜下出血と右動眼神経麻痺をもって発症し，その後もクモ膜下出血を繰返して，左動眼神経および左半身麻痺をきたし，またその経過中，比較的短期間に特徴的な石灰化像の発生した頭蓋底の巨大なosteochondromaの1例を経験したので，これに若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

Intracranial osteochondroma or chondroma is rarely seen. Only 14 cases have reported in this country. We present a case of the intracranial osteochondroma of the skull base with repeated subarachonoid hemorrage.

A 36-year-old male suffered from subarachnoid hemorrage and right oculomotor palsy. Craniogram showed hyperostosis localized around the dorsurn sellae. Right carotid angiogram revealed straightening and upward displacement of the anterior choroidal artery. Aneurysm could not verified by angiograms, but ligation of the right common carotid artery was performed.
