Ⅰ．はじめに

　頭蓋内epidermoid，dermoidは稀な疾患である．本邦ではepidermoidに関しては牧¹⁰（1964）が自験例を含む40例を集計，石森^6）（1967）は10例，落合^15）（1971）は44例を報告し，またdermoidについては桂^7）（1958）が12例を全国集計している以外には報告例を散見するに過ぎない．好発部位とされる第4脳室，小脳正中部における発生例も本邦報告は石森^6）（1967）の3例を含めて15例に満たない．我々の教室では最近頭蓋内発生例を5例経験し，そのうちの2例は第4脳室epidermoid，1例は小脳後正中部dermoidであった．これら後頭蓋窩に発生した3例はいずれも診断上，治療経過中に興味ある問題を有しており，その2例に若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

Epidermoid and dennoid tumor in the posterior fossa have been reported.

Case 1: 31-year-old female, suffered from vertigo and gait disturbance. Ventriculogram using water-soluble contrast media (conray ventriculogram) showed typical appearance of the epidermoid occupying the dilatated fourth ventricle and the cisterna magna.

Case 2: 5-year-old child, complained of gait disturbance. Craniogram revealed a small bone defect on the midline of the occipital bone. Conray ventriculogram demonstrated the posterior-midline cerebellar tumor. Histologically this lesion was confirmed as the dermoid.
