　73歳，男性。47歳時に腎細胞癌の診断で右腎摘除術を施行した。13年間再発をみなかったが，その後13年間に頸部皮下，顎下腺および甲状腺，肺，胸膜，上行結腸，回腸，殿部筋層内，頸部リンパ節，膵，右肩部筋層内に続々と転移を来し，8回にわたって転移巣に対する手術を繰り返した。腎摘後26年を経過した現在も，担癌生存中である。

A 47-year-old male underwent right nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma. For 13 years no evidence of recur-rence had been observed, when multiple metastases, (sub-cutaneous tissue of the neck, submandibular gland, thyroid, lung, pleura, ascending colon, ileum, muscle layer of the hip and shoulder, lymphnode of the neck and pancreas head) appeared thereafter. He underwent surgery for metastatic tumors one after another accounting for 8 times. He is alive for 26 years after the nephrectomy.
