　症例は20歳，男性。生下時にダウン症候群と診断されていた。左停留精巣の精査を目的として当科を受診。悪性腫瘍の存在を考慮し，左高位精巣摘除術を施行したところ，退形成性セミノーマの診断を得た。

A 20-year-old man with Down's syndrome (21 trisomy)presented with left undescended testis. Although we foundno signs of testicular tumor, because of the fact that Down'ssyndrome patient,older than 10 years with undescendedtestis have higher rate of testicular tumor, we decided toperform the left high orchiectomy. The pathological diag-nosis was an aplastic seminoma (pT1). As in this case, inadult male Down's syndrome patient with undescendedtestis, we cannot deny the possibility of having testiculartumor.
