　56歳，男性。尿閉をきたし入院。前立腺腫瘍マーカーは正常であった。直腸診，画像診断より癌を疑い，TUR-Pを施行した。病理組織学的診断は扁平上皮癌であった。Cisplatin，peplomycin, epirubicinを用いて化学療法を行ったが有効でなく，膀胱，精嚢腺，直腸に浸潤が考えられたため骨盤内臓器全摘除術を施行した。しかし，肺・肝への転移のため入院約4か月後に死亡した。

A patient was a 56-year-old man who was admitted to our hospital with a chief complaint of urinary retention. Digital rectal examination, ultrasonography and computerized tomography suggested prostatic cancer, but prostatic tumor marker levels were within normal limits. Because of the urinary retention, transurethral resection of the prostate was performed and histological examination revealed squamous cell carcinoma. Though chemotherapy was done using cisplatin, peplomycin and epirubicin, the progression of the cancer was seen invad-ing bladder, seminale vesicles and rectum.
