緒言
回腸導管からの採尿方法は，細菌学的評価を行う場合，とくに注意を払う必要がある。4つの方法が考えられるが（第1図），集尿袋からの尿は袋内で増殖した細菌が出現するので不適当である。ストーマにコップを押し当てて採るのが手軽で良さそうであるが，これでもストーマ付近や，導管内の細菌汚染があるため，二重カテーテル法が最良であるとされている1〜4）。
われわれは，二重カテーテル法の煩わしさを避け，1本のカテーテルで採尿しており，これでも十分に細菌学的評価が可能であるので，回腸導管尿のシングルカテーテル採尿法の成績を報告する。
Bacteriological comparison was made between urine taken with a single catheter and urine obtained directly from the stoma in patients with ileal conduit urinary diversion.
The direct urine showed a high incidence of false positive bacteria which derived from juxta-stomal area.
On the other hand, single catheter technique showed reliable results and seemed comparable to the double lumen catheter method.
Single catheter technique is recommended as a practicable method in daily clinical use.
