　陰嚢癌は英国で煙突掃除人に多発し，1775年，Chilnney Sweep's Cancerとして知られ，最初の職業癌である。

　時代の変遷と共に発生率は低下し，今では稀な癌となつてきている。

A case of scrotal skin cancer, which is considered to be a rare disease at the present time, was reported. The case was a 51 year old civil engineer who visited our clinic with the chief complaint of right scrotal mass sized 6×4×2. 3cm and was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma by biopsy. Chemotherapy by Bleomycin was performed and after a total close of 600mg the mass decreased to a size of 3.0×1.8×0.8cm. Extensive resection of the remaining mass, including the scrotal skin was performed and the histopatho-logical findings revealed some remaining of pearl cancer cells but in some area cancer cells were missing or still present.
