小児の先天性膀胱憩室は，従来稀とされている。われわれは，最近生後5ヵ月男子の1例を経験したので，ここに報告するとともに，本症に関し若干の考察を加えた。
A case of congenital vesical diverticulum in 5 month-old boy was reported, and additional 7 cases in children from the Japanese literature in the last 10 years were reviewed 6 cases of them were not proved to have infravesical obstruction.
Congenital vesical diverticula are mostly seen in male, and their locations are mainly around the ureteric hiatus. Currently, it is generally accepted that the primary cause of the congenital vesical diverticulum is malformation of the bladder wall manifested by total or partial lack of muscularization.
