緒言

　排尿時膀胱尿道撮影は，膀胱尿管逆流や尿道弁の診断に欠くことはできないが，これを実施するには，従来はあらかじめ膀胱へ我慢できる限界まで造影剤を注入しておくとかの生理的とはいい難い操作を必要とし，しかも被験者の排尿に対する心理的抑制が強いため，特に女性では不成功に終わる場合が少なくなかつた。

　われわれは撮影時の体位，周囲の環境，撮影の方向と条件などに検討を行なつた結果，現在ではほとんどの被験者に排尿時撮影が可能となり，ルーチンの尿路撮影の一つとして実施しているので，その方法を紹介し，臨床的意義について述べる。

Voiding cystourethrography has frequently resulted in failure, since the patient could not void on the X-ray table due to psychological inhibition. The following technique has succeeded to visualize the bladder and urethra during the act of voiding.

The patient's bladder is filled with radio-opaque dye, excreted from the kidney following ordinary intravenous pyelography or retrogradely introduced, before the examination. The male patient is placed upright in the slightly oblique position. A urine glass is held in the right hand, directing his penis into it.
