緒言

　避妊を目的とする精管切断（切除）術は初め癩療養所で行なわれ，光田^1,2）によつて大正4年から始められたと考えられる。戦後は一般に行なわれ，しかも20〜30歳台の比較的若年層の希望者が多く，将来の復元術を考慮する必要がある。このため手術をひかえ目にし，切除術でなく切断術を行なつたところ，精管の自然再吻合を来した例を経験したので報告する。

Bilateral vesectomy was done by removing approximately 3 cm of the vas and ligating both endes with silk thread in a 36 year old male. But his wife became pregnant 2 months after surgery. Examina-tion of semen revealed numerous sperms with good mobility. Reoperation was performed and the removed part of the right vas showed recanalization by X-ray examination. Side to side anastomosis of left, and end to end anastomosis were suspected by histological examination of the indurated site, but numerous groups of sperms were noticed in the loose conective tissue of the granuloma.
