緒言

　前立腺のmucus-forming adenocarcinoma（mucinous adenocarcinoma,carcinoma gelatinosum，mucoid carcinoma，膠様癌）は非常にまれな疾患である。われわれは最近本症の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 67 year old male made his first visit to our clinic on August 6, 1973 with the chief complaint of hematuria, pain by micturition and urinary incontinence of 9 months duration and rectal examination revealed enlarged hard prostate. Urethrocystogram showed a narrow, irregular edged prostatic urethra with a tumor projecting into the bladder. Excretory pyelogram showed no excretion of dye and was admitted for remarkable oliguria and general edema with high BUN and creatinine.
