A 61 year old farmer, recieved aminobenzil penicillin (AB-PC) after nephrolithotomy but was discontinued one week later due to generalized penicillin eruption. CET was prescribed according to the sesitivity test of urine culture for remittent fever and shaking chills, which started 13 days after surgery.

Pain of extremities and stomatitis developed soon after CET was started, and sudden impairment of general condition, was noticed. CET was discontinued on the 17 th postoperative day.
