5歳女児。生後9か月で尿路感染症を契機に左腎の低形成を指摘されていた。尿失禁を主訴に当科を受診した。左低形成腎所属尿管は腟内に開口していた。後腹膜鏡下腎摘出術を施行し，術後すみやかに尿失禁は消失した。

A 5-year-old girl. Left renal dysplasia was detected with the onset of the urinary tract infection at 9 months old. She presented with urinary leakage occurring between normal voids from the age of three. A magnetic resonance imaging revealed a left ectopic ureter derived from the hypoplastic kidney in the retroperitoneal space. Retrograde urography from the ectopic ureteric orifice in vagina enabled to provide the identification of ureter and renal pelvis. Retroperitoneoscopic nephrectomy was performed. She became dry soon after the operation.
