　転移性腎癌に対し天然型IFNαの製剤変更を行い，効果の得られた2症例を経験した。変更理由は，それぞれ転移巣増大と副作用である皮膚病変の出現だった。変更後転移巣は増大なく，また皮膚病変は出現せず，いずれも1年以上寛解状態にあった。近年，IFNα製剤間の抗腫瘍効果・副作用の違いに関する報告が増えているが，それぞれの患者に対し，より適切なIFNαが存在する可能性があると考えられた。

Although INFα can be beneficial for patients with renal cell carcinoma, the most effective type of INFα may differ from patient to patient. Herein we report two patients having renal cell carcinoma with pulmonary metastases initially treated with one type of INFα who benefited from changing to another type of IFNα. In case 1, the type of IFNα were changed because pulmonary metastases progressed. In case 2, although pulmonary metastases were well controlled, severe drug induced skin trouble developed. After switching to another type of IFNα, pulmonary metastases have been stable in case 1 and skin troubles have disappeared in case 2 for 1 year or longer. Thus, each patient may have a suitable type of natural IFNα.
