　はじめに

　口唇は，摂食，構音などに重要な役割を果たしている。したがって，口唇癌切除後の再建は，整容面だけでなく機能面への配慮も必要とされる。今回われわれは，下口唇正中部の癌切除後の欠損部に対しdouble cross lip flap^1）を用いて再建を行った症例を2例経験し，良好な結果を得たので報告する。

Double cross lip flap method was utilized to re-construct the lower lip in two patients withsquamous cell carcinoma. One patient was a 65-year-old man with T2N0M0 carcinoma and the other was a 86-year-old woman with T3N0M0 car-cinoma. Double cross lip flap is a technique, which requires two stage operations. Although these two patients had schizoid personality or senile dementia, they tolerated this two staged operation well. The details of the technical aspect and the historical background of double cross lip flap were presented.
