　はじめに

　鼻性頭蓋内合併症は近年においても報告を散見するが，不良な経過をたどることもあり決して注意を怠ってはならない疾患である^1）。今回われわれは，鼻性頭蓋内合併症の3例を経験したので，文献的考察を含め報告する。

The primary lesions were frontal sinusitis in 2 cases and sphenoid sinusitis in one case.

Complications were one brain abscess and two meningitis. The case of meningitis due to frontal sinusitis was fatal.

Recent reports suggested that frontal sinusitis was the most frequent source of intracranial compli-cations and the incidence of abscess formation was increased. The risk of the complications were depen-ding on progressive deterioration of consciousness, and existence of defects or dehiscence of bone in the primary lesions.
