難治性鼻出血の1例

A Case of Intractable Epistaxis

　はじめに

　鼻出血は，しばしばわれわれが遭遇する疾患である。多くの場合，鼻処置，ガーゼパッキングなどにより制御することができるが，ときとして止血が困難で入院を必要とする症例もある。今回われわれは，選択的動脈塞栓術でも止血し得ず，結果として外科的アプローチを必要とした1例を経験したので報告する。

A patient presented with epistaxis and severeanemia. The symptoms were so serious that we performed angiography and embolization of the maxillary artery without effective result. Then, we performed endoscopic ligation of the sphenopalatine artery and the external carotid artery, and the results were quite effective.
