I．はじめに

　鼻性頭蓋内合併症は，近年の抗生物質の進歩に伴い減少の傾向にある。しかし，ひとたび発症すると急速な経過をたどる症例も存在する。

　今回われわれは，鼻腔内に悪性腫瘍を伴った鼻性頭蓋内合併症の1例を経験したので報告する。

　A 51-year-old man complained of headche and nasal obstraction. Rhinogenic intracranial complication was diagnosed by computed tomography and examination of cerebrospinal fluid. The operation was enforced for drainage,but the patient died du to severe meningitis. Adenocarcinoma was diagnosed in the right nasal cavity at the operation. It was suggested that existence of the tumor caused exacerbation of the sinusitis.

　Recently,incidence of rhinogenic intracranial complications decreased because of advanced antibiotic treatment. But in the patients of acute paranasal sinusitis,we should pay atention to these disorders.
