　はじめに

　甲状舌管嚢胞は胎生期の甲状舌管遺残組織から発生するが悪性病変を合併することは稀で，1927年にOwenら^1）が報告して以来，百数十例の報告があるのみである。今回われわれは甲状舌管遺残組織から発生したと考えられる乳頭癌の1例を経験した。自験例を加えた本邦報告例35例についての文献的考察を行い報告する。

A 33-year-old man with papillary adenocar-cinoma of the thyroglossal duct complained of an anterior neck mass below the hyoid bone. Ultrasonography and CT showed a cystic and round mass with calcified and papillary regions, and a small nodule in the right lobe of the thyroid gland. Both the cystic mass and the right lobe were resect-ed. The pathological diagnosis was papillary adenocarcinoma. The anterior neck tumor was considered to arise from the thyroglossal duct rem-nants rather than the metastasis from the small lesion of the thyroid.
