口腔底に発生した甲状舌管嚢胞の1例

A Case of Thyroglossal Duct Cyst in the Oral Floor

　はじめに

　甲状舌管嚢胞は胎生期における甲状舌管の遺残上皮に由来する先天性嚢胞であり，舌骨下に発生することが最も多く^1），口腔底に発生することは比較的少ない^2,3）。

　今回われわれは，口腔底に発生した甲状舌管嚢胞の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 23-year-o1d female suffered from a discomfort of the oral floor for one week. Ultrasonography andMRI revealed a cystic mass in the oral floor. In spite of adhesion between the cyst wall and the root of tongue, the mass was resected with the transoral approach under general anesthesia. The histopath-ological examination indicated thyroglossal duct cyst, because the thyroid grand was located in the cyst wall. The clinical course was uneventful.
