多房状を呈した甲状舌管嚢胞の1例

A Case of Multi-locular Thyroglossal Duct Cyst

　はじめに

　甲状舌管嚢胞（thyroglossal duct cyst）は，甲状舌管の遺残より発生する先天性頸部嚢胞で比較的若年者に発症し，その形態は一般的に球形，あるいは楕円形を呈する単房性嚢胞である^1）。今回われわれは生来無症状で過ごし，高齢で初めて前頸部腫瘤を指摘され，その形態が多房状を呈した甲状舌管嚢胞症例を経験したので報告する。

A 76-year-old man presented with a multi-locular thyroglossal duct cyst. An anterior cervical swelling was found and CT-scan showed four cysts between the hyoid bone and the thyroid cartilage. The diag-nosis of thyroglossal duct cyst was confirmed by the surgical and histopathological findings.
