　はじめに

　鼻・副鼻腔に他臓器からの転移性腫瘍が発生することは稀である。今回われわれは，腎細胞癌手術後に10か月を経過し，大量鼻出血を呈し発見された篩骨への単独転移症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 73-year-old man, who underwent left neph-rectomy under diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma 10 months before developed severe epistaxis.

Rhinoscopic examination and exploratory antrotomy revealed a hypervascular tumor originat-ing from the right ethmoid cells and the histopath-ological diagnosis was clear cell carcinoma.

It was emphasized that the possibility of metas-tatic renal cell carcinoma should be taken into consideration when a case of nasal tumor with excessive bleeding was encountered.
