はじめに
遊離皮弁移植手術が一般的に行われるようになり，中咽頭悪性腫瘍摘出後の再建においても，再建材料として種々の皮弁が選択可能となっている1〜4）。再建皮弁の違いによる術後機能の差異についてはすでに報告した5）が，今回は問診と発語明瞭度の各評価項目ごとの点数化を試み，中咽頭の欠損範囲ごとに構音機能と嚥下機能の関係について比較検討した。
Various flaps were used for mesopharyngeal re-construction after excision of cancer for preserva-tion of speech and swallowing functions.
We developed functional score for the recon-structed mesopharynx by questionnaires with speech and swallowing functions and an intelligibil-ity test with 100 Japanese monosyllables.
Fourteen cases were assessed by using this score, and there was a high correlation between the speech and the swallowing score in many cases.
This score is useful for clinical estimation of postoperative function of the reconstructed meso-pharynx.
