　緒言

　血管腫は頭頸部領域の上皮や粘膜，肝臓などに発生する良性腫瘍とされ，しばしば先天性に発生し，小児および若年者に多く生じると考えられている^1）。今回われわれは若年女性の翼口蓋窩に発生した静脈性血管腫の1症例を経験し，経上顎外側法により摘出して良好な結果を得た。本稿では手術における翼口蓋窩，側頭下窩への到達方法を比較検討し，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 29-year-old female presented with a swelling in her right cheek. CT and MRI revealed a mass in her right pterygopalatine fossa and infratemporal fossa. This tumor was thought as hemangioma because of the patient's history of the illness, special status and radiographic impressions. The tumor was resected completely by the intraoral approach without seri-ous sequelae and identified as extending from the pterygopalatine fossa to the ipsilateral infratempor-al fossa. The excised tumor was accompanied with several phleboliths. Histopathological diagnosis was venous hemangioma with phleboliths.
