　はじめに

　甲状軟骨上角の過長症は通常みられることは少ない。今回われわれは両側の甲状軟骨上角が下咽頭に棒状に突出し甲状軟骨上角過長症と診断した症例を経験したので報告する。

A 37-year-old male complained of pharyngeal pain and pharyngolaryngeal paresthesia. On exami-nation, there were two bony processes protruding into the posterolateral wall of the hypopharynx. A radiograph of the neck showed the long superior horn of the thyroid cartilage bilaterally. The protruted portion was removed under microlaryn-gosurgery in each side. Postoperative radiograph confirmed disappearance of the protrusion, and his complains was improved.
