はじめに
頭頸部領域における悪性腫瘍は，頸部リンパ節を除くと，そのほとんどが原発性であり，他臓器からの転移によるものは稀といわれている。
以前われわれは，肝細胞癌が鼻中隔に転移した症例につき報告したが1），今回，肝細胞癌が篩骨洞への転移をきたした症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。
Metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma to the nose and paranasal sinuses is relatively rare. A 64 year old male with hepatocellular carcinoma treated forabout seven months developed left epistaxis and diplopia. CT scan of the paranasal sinuses showed a soft tissue density mass in the left ethmoid and frontal sinus. The patient died about 2 months later and autopsy of the left ethmoid sinus showed metas-tatic hepatocellular carcinoma.
The possibility of metastatic tumor should be considered for the differential diagnosis of the par-anasal sinus tumor.
