　はじめに

　喉頭の悪性腫瘍は，大部分は原発性であり転移性のものは稀である。今回，直腸癌の手術後，肺転移をきたし，右肺中葉切除をうけた患者で経過観察中に喉頭に腫瘤を生じ，転移性喉頭癌と診断された1例を経験したので報告する。

Metastases to the larynx from remote primary malignancies are extremely rare and less well documented in the literature. A case of meta-static tumor in the larynx following treatment of rectum carcinoma is presented. A 73-year-old female was previously treated for recutum adeno-carcinoma with lung metastasis. Because of rapid development of stridor and dyspnea, she was referred to ENT, where subglottic granulomatous tumor was found by indirect laryngoscopy, and tomography of the larynx. After trachcostomy, cxcisional biopsy followed by laser vaporization confirmed a metastatic adenocarcinoma from the rectum. The incidence and the clinical picture of metastatic laryngeal carcinoma and the meta-static spread to the larynx is discussed with the literature.
