　はじめに

　従来よりメニエール病を含む耳性めまい疾患の発症・病状には心因の関与が指摘されている。最近，精神分析の口語版と言われる交流分析によって，症状が軽快したメニエール病症例を経験したので，メニエール病およびその他の耳性めまい疾患患者の自我状態の特徴と併せて報告する。

Treatment by Transactional Analysis was ap-plied for a 34-year-old male with Meniere's dise-ase. This patient showed high CP (Critical Parent), A (Adult), and FC (Free Child), low NP (Nurturing Parent) and AC (Adapted Child) in egogram. We tried to elevate NP and AC in this patient. As the results, the attacks of vertigo almost disappeared and his character was also changed in a better direction. Furthermore, we investigated the patterns of egogram in the pati-ents with Meniere's disease, paroxysmal positional vertigo and otogenic vertigo. We emphasized that the treatment by transactional analysis is an effe-ctive psychotherapy for patients with vertigo.
