はじめに
めまいを診察するうえで，そのめまいの性状を詳細に問診することによって，ある程度はめまいの病態を把握することができる。
一般的に自発性めまいは，末梢前庭性疾患を例にあげると，メニエール病，前庭神経炎，めまいを伴う突発性難聴，内耳動脈血栓症などに多くみられ，めまいの持続時間は数時間から数日間にも及ぶものまでさまざまである。
For diagnosis of vertigo, it seems important that quality of vertigo should be evaluated.
In a case of unusual vertigo, the duration of vertigo is very short and it repeated frequently.
From the result of neurotological examination, cardiogenic brain embolism was suspected and it was confirmed by MRI.
