はじめに

　良性多形腺腫（pleomorphic adenoma）とワルチン腫瘍（Warthin's tumor, papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum）は，前者は耳下腺に発生する腫瘍のうち約60％を，後者は約10％を占め，それぞれ単独では比較的よく遭遇する腫瘍である。しかし両者が同一耳下腺に同時に存在したという報告は意外に少なく，著者らが渉猟しえた範囲^1〜13）では本症例が13例目の報告であり，国内においては最初の報告である。本症例ではそれぞれの腫瘍が分離して2つの腫瘍塊を形成しており，耳下腺浅葉切除術により顔面神経を障害することなく両腫瘍ともに摘出できた。

Multiple tumors in a single parotid gland, excluding malignant change in a benign neoplasm, are rare. A case of this rare occurrence in a patient who had two separate masses in the same parotid gland was reported. Pathological exami-nations revealed that the one was Warthin's tumor and the other pleomorphic adenoma. Reviewing the literature, a total of 22 cases of histologically separated parotid tumors has been reported. Pleo-morphic adenoma and Warthin's tumor were found in 12 patients. Seventeen out of 22 cases (77%) had Warthin's tumor as one of the neoplasms and 16 out of 22 (73%) had pleomorphic ade-noma. The combination of these two neoplasms were most common.
