はじめに
Neurinomaは，NeurilemmomaまたはSchwan—nomaとも呼ばれる，神経線維鞘に起原を持つ腫瘍である。中枢神経系に好発し，時に末梢神経にも見られる。耳鼻咽喉科領域では，聴神経に最も多く見られ，舌，頸部，咽頭，副鼻腔，喉頭などにも発生する。起原となる神経は，舌咽，迷走，副，舌下，交感神経などがあるが，確認できない例も少なくない。耳下腺のNeurinomaは極めて稀である。我々が調べた範囲では，本邦の報告例は本症例を含めて20例である。最近我々が経験した1症例を報告する。
A 41-year-old man presented a swelling of the right parotid gland.
The origin of neurinoma was thought to be the trunk of the facial nerve.
