耳下腺Dumb-bell型腫瘍の1例

A Case of Dumb-bell Type Pleomorphic Adenoma

はじめに

　耳下腺深葉腫瘍が，副咽頭間隙へと進展してできるdumb-bell型腫瘍は比較的稀である。また多形腺腫で^99mTcシンチグラムが陽性になる例はあまり報告されていない。今回われわれは，dumb—bell型耳下腺多形腺腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 78-year-old woman complained of a swelling of the preauriclar region and pain in mouth. opening. CT-scan and ^99mTc scintigram revealed a large tumor in the parapharyngeal space. The patient refused surgery, and only pathological biopsy was done. As the pathological diagnosis was pleomorphic adenoma of the parotid gland, we diagnosed it as dumb-bell type tumor. The patient is followed-up in our outpatient clinic.
