I．緒言

　髄膜腫は成人に好発する代表的な脳腫瘍で，その発生頻度は全脳腫瘍中の13〜18％を占める^1）とされている。しかしこの腫瘍が頭蓋外，ことに鼻・副鼻腔領域に発育する例はきわめて稀である。最近著者らは右鼻腔内へポリープの形態をとって出現し，精査の結果，嗅溝原発の髄膜腫と判明した稀な症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A rare case of meningioma invading the right nasal cavity is presented.

A 73-year-old male had complained of the right nasal obstruction for 20 years. The physical examination revealed a polypoid mass occupying the right nasal cavity. A partial resection of the mass was performed for the purpose of im-provement of nasal obstruction. Pathological study of the tumor revealed meningothelial meningioma. This patient is the 27th case reported in the world literature. We discussed the route through which intracranial meningioma invaded the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.
