狭隅角眼におけるレーザー虹彩切開術後の中央前房深度，隅角角度の変化および眼軸長との相関

Changes in anterior segment dimensions and their correlation with the axial length following laser iridotomy for narrow angle eyes

　狭隅角眼44例72眼に対しレーザー虹彩切開術を行い，術前，術直後，1週間後，1か月後における隅角角度と中央前房深度の変化を前眼部画像解析装置で比較検討し，眼軸長との相関も検討した。術前と比較すると隅角角度，中央前房深度ともに，術直後より有意に増加した。術後は隅角角度に関しては有意な経時変化がなく，中央前房深度に関しては経時的にやや減少していく傾向があった。症例の多くは短眼軸長眼であったが，眼軸長との関連では，中央前房深度増加率，4方向の隅角角度の和が眼軸長と相関した。短眼軸長眼では水晶体後面と前部硝子体膜との間の空間容積が相対的に狭いと考えられた。

We performed laser iridotomy in 72 narrow angle eyes of 44 patients. Biometric measurements were carried out using computerized imaging systems for the anterior segment before and after treatment. We observed the central anterior chamber depth and the axial length. The majority of eyes had short axial length. Postoperatively, the angle width and the chamber depth showed significant increases. During the postoperative period, the angle width remained stationary and the anterior chamber depth showed slight decrease. The rate of increase of anterior chamber depth and the average of angle width in four directions were inversely correlated with the axial length. It appeared that the space between the posterior lens surface and the anterior surface of vitreous body was less in eyes with short axial lengths.
