前房内食塩水注入による隅角開大法とそれによる狭隅角緑内障の隅角所見について

Anterior chamber deepening by injection of saline solution in gonioscopy A report on cases of closed angle glaucoma

　原発緑内障の内に極めて狭い隅角を有する一群かあることは周知の事実であり，此は人によりnarrow angle glaucomaと呼ばれ，1954年の国際眼科学会のシンポジウムでclosed angle glau-comaと命名されている。

　処で此場合の隅角は屡々極端に狭く，ほとんど細隙状となり，虹彩周辺の生理的膨隆のために隅角細部の観察は極めて困難であることが多い。このような際に我々は常に次の問題に直面する。

The author devised an anterior chamber deepening method in gonioscopy by means of saline injection into the anterior chamber simply or combined with vitreous puncture. After sucking out 0.1~0.15cc of vitreous about the same dose of physiologic saline solution is injected into the anterior chamber. When the intraocular pressure is low, injection of saline solution alone may be done. The anterior chamber deepening always performed immediately before glaucoma operation.

13 Cases of closed angle glaucoma, 1 Case of prodromal stage, 6 acute and 6 chronic cases, were examined.
