　未熟児網膜症に対するキセノン光凝固治療の視野に及ぼす影響を検討した。天理病院で長期観察した瘢痕期未熟児網膜症例のうち，視野検査で信頼しうる結果の得られた8歳以上の症例，光凝固例58例104眼，自然治癒例8例11眼を対象とした。ゴールドマン視野計を用いた。結果は画像解析装置Leitz ASMを用い，V／4，I／2の各イソプターについて，全視野，耳側視野，鼻側視野の面積を計算した。V／4では，耳側視野面積には著しい変化はなかった。鼻側視野面積には低下があり，広範な光凝固を行った群で著しく低下した。I／2では瘢痕期1度光凝固2／3周以上の群や瘢痕期2度光凝固の群では，耳側と鼻側の面積はともに低下していた。

We evaluated the visual field changes following Xenon photocoagulation in 104 eyes, 58 patients, with retinopathy of prematurity. At the time of examination, these patients were aged between 8 and 21 years. The state of the fundus was gradedaccording to the classification by the Welfare Ministry of Japan. The visual field was examined by Goldmann kinetic perimeter.

There was no notable change in the area of temporal visual field when measured by isopter V/ 4. The nasal visual field showed frequent constric-tions. The constriction was more pronounced after application of extensive photocoagulations. There were constrictions in temporal and nasal visual field for isopter 1/2 in eyes with dragged disc with peripheral photocoagulation scar and in eyes with full-circumferential photocoagulation.
