　摘出豚眼を用いて，後嚢のない場合の縫合法による後房レンズの毛様溝固定術を行い，その手術手技を検討した。毛様溝に通糸をするときには，周辺虹彩切除口から針先を確認する必要があり，レンズ挿入時には後嚢の代わりとなる支持が必要であることがわかった。この新しい方法を硝子体側から観察しその有用性を確認した。

We performed experimental studies to refine the technique of posterior chamber intraocular im-plantation in aphakic eyes without posterior cap-sule. Enucleated porcine eyes were used in theexperiment. The haptics of the lens were fixated to the ciliary sulcus with three-bridge supporting threads. The needlepoints passing through the ciliary sulcus were visually controlled through the iridectomized iris hole created for this purpose. Satisfactory fixation of the haptics along the sulcus could be confirmed by observation from the vitreal side.
