斜視患者55例において，両眼視状態と非両眼視状態でのまわし眼位を比較検討し，まわし斜位の存在について考察した．方法はFundusHaploscopeを使用し，同時視状態と片眼固視状態でのまわし眼位と上下ずれを測定し，各状態でのまわし眼位の差と上下ずれの差を比較した．その結果，まわし眼位，上下ずれともに差を認めなかったものが42例，主に上下ずれに差を認めたものは8例，主にまわし眼位に差を認めたものは4例あった．このことから同時視をすることにより，主に上下方向に眼位が変化するものと主にまわし方向に眼位が変化するものが存在すると思われた．同時視状態と片眼固視状態で，上下ずれや水平眼位には差を認めず，まわし眼位のみに差を認めたものが3例あり，これらの症例はまわし斜位を示唆するものと考えた．
In order to evaluate cyclophoria, we measured differ-ences in cyclodeviation under monocular and binocular-conditions in 55 cases with strabismus. We used Fundus Haploscope with simultaneous perception slides. Retinal images in both eyes were recorded as they appeared in the video screen of the Haploscope. The amount of cyclodeviation was measured by analysis of the fundus photographs.
In the majority cases, there were no variation in cyclo or vertical deviations under monocular and binocular states. Eight cases manifested variation in vertical deviation and 4 cases in cyclodeviation. Cyclodeviation along with vertical or horizontal deviation was detected in one case each.
Three cases manifested cyclodeviation without ac-companying vertical or horizontal deviation. These cases seemed to corroborate the concept of cyclophoria.
