　62歳男性。胃癌手術後，右眼に網脈絡膜病巣，左眼に濃厚な硝子体混濁を伴うぶどう膜炎が発症した。ステロイド剤，抗生剤により一時軽快したが，左眼前房蓄膿の出現と硝子体混濁の増強があり，硝子体手術を行った。吸引硝子体よりBacillus cereusが培養検出され，その薬剤感受性より，AKMとEMの療法を行い治癒した。

　内因性ぶどう膜炎には，感染性のものも念頭におき，その確定診断には，硝子体の検索が有用である。

A 62-year-old male developed bilateral uveitis one month after surgery for gastric cancer. The patient had been treated by catheter feeding through the central vein because of postoperative feber and anorexia for the foregoing 23 days.

The left eye manifested severe vitreous opacity with hypopyon. Multifocal choroiditis with patchy exudates and hemorrhage temporal to the macula in the right eye.

Under the tentative diagnosis of metastatic uvei-tis, the left eye was treated by vitrectomy. The vit-reous culture revealed growth of Bacillus cereus.
