I．緒言

　Carbonic Anhydrase阻害によるNa再呼吸抑制を主役として，又利尿のみでなく眼圧下降剤としてもその有効性を宣伝されたAcetazoleami—de （Diamox）の登場は1950年Roblin氏らの合成に始まることは周知である。そして1954年にはその眼圧下降作用がBeckerによつて報告された。

　以来1957年にはNovello及びSprague氏らによつてChlorothiazideが合成され，その血圧下降作用が注目されるに至つた。これらを契機として各種のBenzothiadiazine系薬剤の合成が行われ，ここにCarbonic Anhydrase阻害剤合成の最盛期を迎えるに至つた。

In previous report the author mentioned that the maintenance of acid base balance of blood-aqueous barrier was performed by unknown active factor.

In this report the author investigated the change of intracameral aqueous p. H. and blood p.H. of rabbit following the administration of Diurex by use of intracameral glass capillary electrode.

The results were as follows.

Following the systemic administration of Diurex the p.H. of aqueous humor was reduced after 10 minutes, tended to rise after 30-60 minutes, and was reduced again after 120 minutes.
