I．緒言

　最近体内電解質代謝（電解質の体内濃度及び分布変化）の変動を惹起せしめる一連の利尿剤の登場によつて，腎に対する影響が研究されると共に体内電解質代謝変動に及ぼす影響から，臨床的に眼圧下降剤として使用されるようになつた。これを顧みると1950年Robin,Miller氏等による一連の炭酸脱水酵素阻害剤発見を嚆矢として，Ace—tazoleamideが生成せられたことに始まる。

　著者はさきにAcetazoleamide （Diamox） Di—phenylmethan−4,4—disulfonamide （Nirexon）の臨床的効果について報告し，第3報においてはAcetazoleamide （Diamox）投与による前房水水素イオン濃度の変動を検討し，電解質中Kと競合し，又Naと交換性をもち，HCO₃と不可分な関係にあるH変動から，興味ある結果を報告した。

In this report, the author investigated the change of intracameral aqueous p. H. of rabbit following the administration of Benzothiadiazine preparations by use of intracameral glass capillary electrode.

A new oral diuretic, chlorothiazide (Chlotride), hydrochlorothiazide (Esidrex), and hyd-roflumethiazide (Rontyl), a powerful diuretic and an effective hypotensive drug not pro-duced any change in acid-base balance in aqueous humor and blood of rabbit.
