Abstract 文献概要

　1879年Leberは糸状菌の感染によつて起つた前房蓄膿性角膜潰瘍の1例を報告した。その後約80年間に幾多の眼科領域における真菌感染症の報告がある。その主なものは重篤な症状を呈した角膜真菌症である。併しこの他に症状が軽微なために見逃がされている眼瞼及び結膜の真菌症も可成り多数ある。

　現在の眼科領域における真菌感染症を概観してみると次の2つの特徴が見られる。

Two cases of keratomycosis after topical cortisone were treated with topical application of nystatin. The ointment containing 50,000 unit/gm of nystatin was applied every half an hour during the day, and less frequently at night. Both cases responded well to the treatment and were cured in a course of 4 weeks and 6 weeks respectively. Two other cases of stubborn marginal blepharitis due to fungus infection were also treated with ny-statin. The same ointment was applied three times every day. They were cured in one week. Recurrence was not observed.
