角膜真菌症の1例

A case report of fungus keratitis

　真菌による角膜疾患は1879年Leber氏によつて始めて報告されて以来，その症例は散発的に報告されて来たが，最近抗生物質治療中或は治療後の真菌類による感染は一般医学の注目をひき，眼科領域に於てはコーチゾンの使用が真菌症の発生をたすけると云われている^1）2）。最近私共は角膜真菌症の1症例を観察し，病理組織学的標本を得たのでこゝに報告する次第である。

A case of fungus keratitis which may be an occurance secondary to the herpetic keratitis was reported. On the mycologic examinations the fungus could be identified as Scopulari-opsis brevicaulis hominis (Brumpt & Langeron 1910). On the histologic preparations a large number of fungi could be found in the central portion of cornea with a less infiltration of inflammatory cells. These fungi did not penetrated the Desmet's membrane. The surface of this portion consisted of necrotic masses stained strongly with eosin and periodic acid Schiff's reagents.
