　上皮内上皮腫（Intraepithelial epithelioma）は別名Bowen氏病とも呼ばれて居る。本症は1912年Bowen^1）に依り始めて皮膚科方面から前癌性疾患として発表された。眼科領域に於けるBowen氏病は欧米に於いては多数の報告例を認めるが，本邦に於いては未だその報告に接しない。私は最近本症例の1例に遭遇し，或る知見を得たので報告する。

Male, aged 15. In the left eye, there was found the grey-yellowish membranous upheaval originated from lower limbus of the cornea, and there was seen the state of.phthisis bulbi, shrinking eye-ball, in the right eye.

Histopathological investigations showed, in the left, hypertrophy of epithelium due to hyperplasia of intraepithelial cells, marked variations in size, shape, and disordered arra-ngement, clumped cell and corps rond : that was intraepithelial epithelioma (Bowen's dise-ase).
