角膜輪部に発生した扁平上皮癌の1例

A case of squamous cell carcinoma in the perilimbal conjunctiva

　角膜輪部に原発したと思われる扁平上皮癌の1例を経験した．症例は35歳男性で，初診時角膜輪部にそって肌色の比較的扁平で，血管に富んだいくつかの腫瘤を認め切除した．その結果病理学的には扁平上皮癌（squamous cell car-cinoma）と診断された．眼内浸潤および全身転移を疑わせる検査所見はなかった．手術後2カ月目に再発したが再切除を行い，その後はBleomycinの結膜下注射と点眼を用い，再発は認めず現在に至っている．

A 35-year-old male presented with persistent redness in his right eye. We observed several rosette-like tumors in the perilimbal conjunctiva along 2 to 8 o'clock position. The tumor was surgically removed and proved to be squamous cell carcinoma on histopath-ological studies. It recurred 2 months later and was treated again by surgical resection and topical bleomycin. No recurrence or metastasis has appeared during the postoperative 33 months.
