　眼起炎菌，特にぶどう球菌の抗生物質耐性に関しては，徳田，寒河江，河田氏等の報告があり，ぶどう球菌はペニシリン，ストレプトマイシン等に耐性になり易く，我国でも逐年的増加の傾向にあるので，該菌に対する諸種抗生物質耐性に関し検索した結果を報告する。

52 stems of staphylococcus aureus isolated from hordeolum showed penicillin sensitivity (100n/cc) in 73%. Penicillin had a less therapeutic effect for resistant stems. There is no cross-tolerance between leucomycin and penicillin. Sensitivity of 30 stems was measured, and the lowered sensitivity was noticed respectively. Combined use of leucomycin with penicillin, Streptomycin, and domian showed more effective results than the combination of streptomycin, Leucomycin and streptomycin had a more retarded acquirement of tolerance than the case of leucomycin and domian.
