Ⅰ．病原体の研究
Trachoma （以下Tr）病原体及び治療に関する研究は非常に数が多く，此の限られた紙面にその総てを漏れなく記載する事は困難であるが，過去数年間に及んで私共の教室で行つて来た研究を中心に吾々の考えを述べさせていただきたいと思う。
Tr病原体に関しては既に1907年Prowazek及びHalberstadtelが細胞包括体を発見し，以後多くの論争はあつたけれど，今日世界の大多数の学者が之をTr病原体と認めている事，及び此の封入体がTr病原体でないと断言出来る確証は何一つ挙つていない事，又私共の研究からも此の包括体を病原と認めて差支ない事実が次々と挙つて来た事等から私共は研究の根本となる病原体はP-H小体であるとする基礎の上に仕事を進めた。

I. Infective agent of trachoma
1. Electron microscopic examination of trachoma virus.
2. Relation between inclnsion body and virus like particle,
3. Chemical constitution of the virus.
4. Potency of virus in the infected tissue.
5. Change of the symptoms by the repeated infe tion.
6. Clinical effect of immun serum.
7. Change of gamma globulin in the conjunctiva and serum in trachoma.
8. Spontaneous cure of trachoma
9. Symptoms of early stage trachoma and influence of bacterial contamination.
