緒言

　1902年Steindorffが急性緑内障発作が天候に関係すると発表して以来，その報告は多数見られるが伊東教授は「従来眼科方面に於て発表せられて居る病因要素としての気象調査なるものが非常に不確実なものであり，もつと広く気象学的要素を計測すべめであり又春夏秋冬乃至は月別位を見たのでは到底不充分である」と述べられて居る。PetersenやHinrichs等はMeteorographを作成し，気象要素の総合体である気団との関係を推察し，我国に於ては萩野氏等の報告が見られるが私は此の度は気圧・気温・湿度・雲量等を取りあげ緑内障発作との関係を観察してみたので其の概要を報告する。

The autonomic nervous system of the patient who have had the attack of glaucoma are very irritable and the attacks seem to be caused by the slight change of atmospneric phe-nomena. The author has observed the relationship between the attack and atmospheric phenomena in 13 eyes, 11 cases clearling the results that the attack were cased too often in the marked alteration of wheather suggested the passage of the front line. The attack of glaucoma were found in 6 eyes of 5 cases when the cold front line seemed to pass and in 4 eyes of 4 cases when the warm front line seemed to pass and in one eye of one case when the typhoon has came.
